I have a row of numbers and I want to count how many numbers there are in the 10's
Is it possible?
=COUNTIF(A1:M1, ?)

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
What do you mean by "In the 10's" ?
do you mean between 10 and 19 ?

=COUNTIF(A1:M1,">=10")-COUNTIF(A1:M1,">19")

do you mean a number with 2 digits, between 10 and 99

=COUNTIF(A1:M1,">=10")-COUNTIF(A1:M1,">99")

does that help?

Thank you

Both work ...
=COUNTIF(A1:M1,">=10")-COUNTIF(A1:M1,">19")
=sumproduct(--(a1:m1>=10),--(a1:m1<20))

It's amazing how many ways you can do one thing.
