I have a defined name which uses OFFSET and COUNTIF:

=OFFSET(WSList!$A$2,0,0,COUNTIF(WSList!$A$2:$A$4,">"""),2)

As i want to show a list that can change in size i do not want it showing blanks hence this defined named, it will only display data and no blanks.

I wanted to use this defined name in a form and reference the defined name in rawsource filed in a list box on a form.

This used to work but now it errors with:

"Could not set the ROWSource property. Invalid Property Value"

Although i have made changes to the workbook none to do with the defined names or formatting of the data.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi Dave

I would check the definition of your DNR because the one you posted looks like the countif points at a maximum range of 3 rows (A2:A4) which isn't very large. I would probably look at using COUNTA instead of COUNTIF too.
