Hi All,

i do hope you can help...

I've created a drop down box in a range of cells that contain various options including an "Other - Please Specify". the problem i have is that i would like it for the contents of the cell to be blank if this option is selected so that the user can manually enter text but am unsure how to do this? it would also be preferable for a message to present stating this before the option is selected.

i only have a moderate understanding of excel and a basic understanding of VBA/code.

any help or advice that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Stuart.
