Hi,

When I put a drop down list in my sheet, is there anyway to default it so that the user always knows it's a drop down box? i.e. always show the down arrow at the side of the cell?

Cheers,

Eoin

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Not with data validation, no. You can use a Forms (or ActiveX) control instead if you wish.
