Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem in getting my drop down list to work. So in cell "B5" the title is Item, and the drop down works great under this header. However if I choose from B6 ie"PVC Tape" in cell C6 I would like the options to only be what I've set up as the colors of the pvc tape. This table is set up on page 2 header PVC TAPE. I've tried indirect, I've tried copying and no solid results.

What I want it to do is if I select an Item from my drop down in B5, C5 would then give me options only under that item.

TIA

Thank you for the link to the video, but unfortunately when I follow step by step I now get a message that the source currently evaluates to an error do I want to proceed.

Could you upload a sample workbook (without sensitive data) to a sharing site like dropbox.com or google drive?
And then share the link here.

sure not a problem, but I have part of it working now. So the first two items do bring up the description but the rest of the items when I click the drop down box nothing.
