 As Long as Im asking, Ill go for the 2 for 1 ! <smile>

1) Is there a way to make a cell (I assume it would be a drop down list) do something like a smart fill; auto fill/ auto suggest/ auto complete" function as Im typing in what I want? and ...

2) (Short Version: How can I use the &mpersand sign in drop down lists?)
Long Version of same question: This question corresponds to working with the YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/user/ExcelIsFun#p/search/0/Los7Nb6Skdk which is your Trick #259
NOTE: my work is on TWO sheets in the same workbook.

The First sheet is my main sheet where I do the Data Validation at.
The 2nd sheet is is used for my creating my Lists & List Names via (CTRL+Shift+F3). and ...
For the creating the Drop Down Menus as exampled below.

Dept ..............................Vitamins & Minerals
=============== ........==============
Vitamins & Minerals ...............Vitamins
Supplements ......................Multi-Vitamins
Herbs & Plants....................... Minerals
Homeopathic

The problem I am running into is:
A) It seems that my TOP of my column, must match something in my previous row, exactly!

B) I have been able to get it to work with a single word like supplement, but I can NOT get it to work when I use the Ampersand sign!

In order to save space on the website this is being developed for, I really NEED to use the ampersand sign, if logistically possible/feasible.

Are there any other dos-donts I should know about when working with drop down menus? If so, where can I find that information at please.

Thank You Very Much for your Consideration!

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Seems if I paste a copy of my list of words from my drop down list, ABOVE the cells I need to fill in, then I get it to auto Suggest, the Fill In Box (or Menu) so I dont have to scroll through 30+ options!
**5 points for the dummy! <smile>**

As for the Ampersand ... Im still stuck on that. How can I get an Ampersand in the drop down menu to work? It seems as though there is a link Im missing If I just try to run-on my Title, as it no longer the SAME as the NAME which Links iit ... Please Advise</smile>
