Hello, which formula could I use to find the due date of a maintenance contract based on the maintenance frequency (e.g. every 1 month), start date of the contract and today's date?

Example: A security barrier contract: the contract is valid from 10/01/2018 till 10/12/2018. The frequency of the maintenance is 1 month. The due date of the next maintenance should be 10/12/2018.

Thanks a lot! J

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
If you already have a date, eg 10/11/2018, you could use:

=EDATE(A1,1)

If you want to calculate it from today:

=EOMONTH(TODAY(),-(DAY(TODAY())<10))+10

Maybe start again, explaining exactly what you want, provide some sample data with the results you expect.

Okay. Sorry if that was not clear.

I am looking to have the due date of a maintenance contract. Let us say that the start date of the contract is 01/01/2018 and the maintenance should take place monthly (every month). What I am looking for is when the next maintenance is due to take place but I want it to be based on today's date (for this example it should be 01/01/2019 since the maintenance for the month of December already took place on 01/12/2018). you can find the example below.

Contract type start date of the contract end date of the contract maintenance frequency (months) today next due date of the maintenance

Apple SAL 01/01/2018 31/12/2019 1 04/12/2018 (the formula that I am looking for - it should show 01/01/2019)

Many thanks for your help!
Joseph
