Error Message

As an A Level ICT Student, I have been told to push my spreadsheet to as high a standard as I can. I've been asked to find out how to create an Error Message that will show up if a cell is empty when a button is pressed, as we have created an input form type set up. Simple solutions would be appreciated

Example:

If IsEmpty(Range("A1")) Then MsgBox "A1 is empty!"

Hello and welcome to MrExcel.

Press ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor, select Module from the Insert menu and paste in

Sub Check()
If Range("A1").Value = "" Then MsgBox "A1 is empty", vbExclamation, "Error check"
End Sub

Change A1 to the cell you want to check. Press ALT + Q to return to your sheet, add a button from the Forms toolbar and when prompted assign it to the Check macro.
