Excel 2003 Macro Stopped Working

I'm an old guy disabled by worsening chronic illness and cognitive deficits and I can't remember how to look at a macro I used to have in an Excel 2003 spread sheet of my medical records.

Yesterday when I opened that spreadsheet the macro didn't work as it usually did.

So I figured that the first step in troubleshooting would be to look for the macro to see if it's still really there at all.

But I realized it has been so many years since I created that macro I don't have a clue where to even look to see if it's still there. (And if it's not, I'm not sure could remember how to re-create it).

I'd be grateful for some help trying to track down this elusive macro, to get it up and running again. Or if it has disappeared, then some help trying to recreate it.

Try Tools > Macro > Macros. Do you get a list of macros in nthe workbook?

OK, that's one thing eliminated.

Did this macro work as soon as you opened the workbook, or made changes on a sheet or similar?

I'm a bit hampered here as Excel 2003 is a pretty dim memory for me but I'll stick with you as far as I can.
