Since converting to Excel 64-bit version, 2016, I have experienced a few undocumented features. I don't know what has to do with what but if anyone has experienced and solved any of the following I'd really like to hear what you did:
1. The command:
Code:
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
seems to cause problems. It is like Excel "forgets" where it is an the current file or current sheet gets mixed up. The only way I've solved this is to never turn this update to false.

2. This command does not always work correctly:
Code:
Workbooks.CheckOut "networkpath & file.xlsx"
This is used for checking out files from SharePoint. Sometimes the file gets checked out but "disappears" from Excel and I have to reopen it, though checked out. In other cases it seems to work just fine. BTW, I cannot figure out which version of SharePoint we use so I can't provide. It is at least 2010, maybe higher.

If anyone has experienced any of these undocumented features I'd appreciate hearing from you!
