Excel Formula Question

I need to be able to enter a date range and know if the Start Date, End date or any day in between falls within the date range. Example below. Does anyone have any ideas of formulas that I can use?

Start Date	End Date	Date Range	Y/N
12/14/15	1/20/16	1/1/16-1/31/16	Y
12/1/15	12/14/15	2/1/16-2/5/16	N

Put your second date range in separate cells
Then try

IF(OR(AND(A2<C2,B2<C2),AND(A2>D2,B2>D2),"N","Y"))
