So i am wondering if there is a macro that willallow me to type in on one sheet a list as follows (example)

etc

and then running the macro will pull thatinformation into a master sheet already set up like below

Basically i need the macro to look at the datecells and component cells, match them with the final sheets location and placethe amount into the appropriate cell. also while running a summation if thesame component is used more than once on the same day.
runningthe macro on the given example would result in :

does this make sense? and is it possible? Thankyou!

component x | 02Jul13 | p | |
component y | 02Jul13 | q | |
component z | 04Jul13 | r | |
component x | 02Jul13 | s |

and then running the macro will pull thatinformation into a master sheet already set up like below
component x | component y | component z | |
02Jul13 | |||
03Jul13 | |||
04Jul13 |
