My issue is a two part question:
1. I found a good scrum template in excel to list the sprint tasks associated with product backlog items. These tasks are color coded by some logic in the background. However, the sprint template only has two colors. If I want to add unique tasks associated with new product backlog items, I can't figure out how to automate the addition of new colors. There is some logic that is driving the color changes, but I'm having trouble determining what is driving a color change for the sprint tasks and the corresponding colors on the product backlog worksheet. I thought the Story ID column would have been the driver, but Story ID 2, 3 and 4 are color coded yellow. Currently there is the color green in one row. All of the following rows that add data comes up yellow. Below is a sample of what I see. The "Example task" row is all yellow. The following rows all show up as green.
Task Name Story ID Responsible Status Est. 1 2
<colgroup><col><col><col><col><col><col span="5"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>
Any ideas on what is driving the color add to these rows? The color add is limited to only column AD, so the color is limited as well.
2. My second question is, if I can't figure out how the color change is driven, does anybody have a good agile scrum template in excel they could share?
Thank you.
