Excel VBA Workbook.Open changes Format

Hello
i have the following problem:
All Cells of the Wokrbook are in the general format. When i open it manualy it looks like this:

349,878235	21,041668	36,666668	29,895834	46,04166	39,479168
350,061096	27,867134	40,702213	28,872379	54,324005	50,008747

<tbody>
</tbody>

But when i use Workbooks.open the opened Workbook looks like this (Format of the Cells changed to Number):

349.878.235	21.041.668	36.666.668	29.895.834	46.041.660	39.479.168
350.061.096	27.867.134	40.702.213	28.872.379	54.324.005	50.008.747

<colgroup><col span="6"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Additional Info:
The Workbook is an Excel 1997-2003 .xls File and i am using Excel 2016

Welcome to the forum.

Try specifying the Local:=True argument for the Workbooks.Open method as well as the file name.

Are you sure this is an Excel file and not a txt or csv file? This behaviour is typical for a textfile.
