Hi All,

I am trying to figure out how I would change a specific cell after executing a Vlookup.

I have a main page where I can type in a product name and it brings up the data I require using a simple Vlookup. However, the problem comes when the stock runs out and we need to change the batch number. I want to be able to type a new batch number in a cell on the main page which then goes to the Vlookup and adds that new batch number in place of the old one.

So instead of scrolling through the main list and changing the batch number maunually I want it do this automatically.

Any help of this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

can you show us where your batch number comes in please

<colgroup><col width="64" span="14" style="width:48pt"> </colgroup><tbody>

ProductBatch numberAmount remaining
product 12225
product 23334

<tbody>
</tbody>

So when the amounts remaining get to 0 I would like to have a button which then puts the new batch number which you enter into the vlookup table.

So if I want to change product 2 batch number to 444, I type in 444 hit the button and it puts it into the table. Then when I select product 2 via my vlookup table it shows me the batch number is 444.

Does this make sense ?
