Hi There!

I'm exporting my customer email list, along with additional customer info, from excel to .txt However, every single time I do the export the header gets messed up in the .txt document. The header labels do not line up with the data below the header. So for example the labels "email" "first name" "last name" from excel all end up getting placed into a single field in .txt. This means that the header for the email column becomes "email first name last name"

Do you know how I can fix this, so the header aligns properly with the columns?

Thanks so much in advance for any help on this :)

Cheers,
Katharina

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Which format are you wanting to export to? Note that there are many different text options you can export to.

Here are some commonly used ones:
CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) - each field separated by a commas
Formatted Text (Space delimited) (*.prn) - fixed width (so each field in resulting file lines up, assuming field width in Excel are wide enough)
Text (Tab delimited) (*.txt) - each field separated by a tab
