Filter Pivot Table Data based on From and To Dates in cell based values from a dashboard

I am trying to link the date filter in a pivot table based on the from to dates from a dashboard. Is this possible or not. Alternatively, I would like to have the date Date slicer based on selective groups only (e.g. Today / Yesterday / This week / Last Week / This Month / Last Month / This Quarter / Last Quarter / This Year / Last Year / YTD / MTD)

Are either of these two options possible ...
