Formula index match repeat name where same values

Dear Experts,

Please look into the attach file frmula index match could not perform very well and where is duplicate of marks formula does not pick up name of student and make some error repeat two time.....

Subject Analysis

In C18 control+shift+enter, not just enter, and copy down:

=INDEX($C$2:$C$14,SMALL(IF($D$2:$D$14=$D18,ROW($C$2:$C$14)-ROW($C$2)+1),COUNTIFS($D$18:D18,D18)))

In D18 just enter and copy down:

=LARGE(D$2:D$14,ROWS($D$18:D18))

This set up would also pick out the students having the same score at the third place. But your layout does not take such a possibility into account.
