Here is what I am looking to do:

Column A Column B
X(unknown # =X*.35 If X less than 857 =300. If X is 858 or more than it is X*.35

Any ideas how to do that?

Any help would be great appreciated!!!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
try in B1

=if(A1<858,300,A1*.35)

Thanks for the quick reply. It is automatically putting it to $300 w/o adding any number to A1
The goal would be it to not show anything until some number goes in A1 then it either reads 300 or X*.35

you didn't mentioned that condition in your post, anyway, try this

=if(isblank(A1),"",A1<858,300,A1*.35))

What if we do something like if the A1 is 1to858 = 300 if 859+= 859*.35. would that work some way?
