From a web page opened in GoogleChrome, I would like to perform following tasks using ashortcut key :

  1. Input a test string including home-chosen keywords (variable lenght)
  2. Inserting the selected text of the web page in a World file (opened) with before each text, the URL of the page and my « Keywords string »
  3. Record in an Excel file the URL and the « keywords string » with the date.
It should be convenient to pilot allthose tasks from Excel VBA. But I don't know if it is possible totrigger an Excel or Web Macro when reading a web page. May be someautomatization tools (scripts, macros..) could help ?
Unfortunately, I am not allowed toinstall any software at my workplace. Yet I can use ChromeExtensions. I know VBA for Excel a bit.

I am interested to know your advice tothe best way to automatize the process, the difficulties ahead ormore adequate paths.

- Google Chrome
- Excel 2007 and Word 2007
- Windows professional 2005.
