We are looking at rolling out a Power BI Report Server connecting to SSAS tabular (which I believe it has to). I'm pretty familiar with Power BI / Power Pivot and was able to create and connect a model without much difficulty.

What I need to learn understand is how to maintain / update the model, which I will need to do going forward. For example if a new measure is required I wasn't sure how to add it, do I need to keep the project I created in SSDT so I can amend and redeploy?

That's just a specific example, what I really need is a recommendation for a book / resource that covers this kind of topic.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
This might fit the bill: "Tabular Modeling in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (2nd Edition)" by Marco Russo and Alberto Ferrari. It was just released a few months ago. I have the book...but haven't read it yet so can't 100% verify it covers what you are looking for.

Good luck.
