Hello all,

I have a cell range (B5:AE5) that has a gradient fill applied to it. (coloring from the center) all the cells are merged and the text is centered. However at various times, different columns are hidden and then when viewed the gradient is no longer even and the text is no longer centered. Is there any way to format the cells to make sure everything stays centered or.....
Is there a way in VBA to merge and center my range based on what is visible?

thanks!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
The only idea I have is centre across selection (nothing merged)
