I have a workbook that I am trying to print. I have 5 sheets in this workbook each with multiple pages. When I go to print the entire work book, the header creates the following page numbers:

page 1 of 20
page 2 of 20
page 3 of 20
...

What I want is for it to start over with every new sheet like this:

page 1 of 3
page 2 of 3
page 3 of 3
page 1 of 5
page 2 of 5
...
page 5 of 5
page 1 of 2
page 2 of 2

Is this possible? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Printing the whole workbook combines the number of pages in the entire workbook by default.

If you don't have too many worksheets, you could print them one by one manually, then you will get thereof number of pages on each worksheet separately.

You could also use a marco to print all worksheets one by one at once (not as entire workbook):

Code:
[COLOR=#0000ff]Sub[/COLOR] Macro1()

[COLOR=#0000ff]Dim[/COLOR] Sh [COLOR=#0000ff]As[/COLOR] Worksheet

[COLOR=#0000ff]For Each[/COLOR] Sh [COLOR=#0000ff]In[/COLOR] ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets

Sh.PrintOut Copies:=1, Collate:=True, IgnorePrintAreas:=False

[COLOR=#0000ff]Next[/COLOR]

[COLOR=#0000ff]End Sub[/COLOR]

I have about multiple documents with an average of 15 tabs so the macro is great thanks for the quick response.
