I have roughly two thousand entries in two workbooks that I need to reorder in number and date sequence, I have no idea how to do this, filter only displays the information in whatever fashion rather than actually reorganizing it. The end result needs to be each entry in a date range needs to be ordered from greatest (top) to least (bottom) order. Also, These numbers are across several columns. This https://www.dropbox.com/s/t2izk8gcpjqxmmb/reorder.png?dl=0 is a linked example of what it needs to look like. To be clear the columns shown labeled NJ1 are currently empty, its the NJ3 columns that are of concern, and this solution only needs to work once in order to get what is already there reordered.

The purpose of this is so that both workbooks are identically ordered and should match identically as far as the data that I am trying to pull into another workbook is concerned. This is in an effort to create a side by side of selected data collected on the same targets but different information.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
