I want to ride a code that automatically hides certain sheets when I open excel. In this case I want to hide "Sheet 1", "Sheet 2", and "Strings". I am very new with VBA so as simple as possible is prefered.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
So Michael, think of it this way. If you are having a bad round then you are probably getting more exercise looking for that ball in the rough and less time in the club house. Hence bad golf gives you inversely proportionally less time drinking? Or does the best golf occur at the 19th hole?

Robert,

correct Mother Nature can be a fickle master. We had 2 really good wheat crops wiped out in 2010 and 2011 from heavy rain and flooding. 2012, 2013 and now 2014 have all been drought years.

Despite having a degree, a grad certificate and a masters (and hence good employment somwhere else), but if 'the land' is in your blood it is a hard thing to get rid of.

How was the train trip home? I image there would be nothing worse than a carriage full of half wet people..., except a bus full of half wet people.

cheers
