Highlighting blank cells

Hi I have a table like the one below. I want to highlight empty cells to delete them etc. I went to GoTo Special, and clicked on Blank Cell but excel highlighted the cells inside the table and SOME outside the table too. Why excel highlighted the outside cells. To fix this issue, I had to highlight the whole table (that is not practical if I have big table). Any idea why? Thank you so much.

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Shortcut to select the whole table,

1. click on Table
2. {CTRL} A
