How does one link cells in a single row?

I have a list of customers, with corresponding data in each row. However, I want to sort the customers by who spends the most money, as well as other characteristics.

Is there a way to link cells so that all the information matches up properly when sorting?

Thanks,

Adam

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
If all the data is in columns that are next to each other, then when you sort Excel will keep them all together.

Data such as that below would be an example.

Excel 2010
ABC
1Cust. #Cust. NameCust. City
2123JoeAtlanta
3456BillMiami
4789BobSeattle
Sheet1

Thanks! I'm not very familiar with Excel, obviously. I just had to select all my desired data and then was able to sort it, so it did it all for me. Thanks!
