We add to Excel Data Model using Ctrl T or first change the data to Data Table first.
However we lose some flexibility once the data is turned into the Excel Table.

Is there a way to add a named range instead of a Data Table into Data Model ?
I do not have PowerPivot but instead Excel 2016 so I do not have access to full PowerPivot buttons.

Please help. Thanks

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
