Hi, I am trying to set up a document portal for a rigging spreadsheet onboard a large vessel.
I need to create hyperlink buttons that will open a new page titled - Equipment List
and depending on which button you push from the front page (e.g Wire Rope Grommet, or System Sling) only the named items in the Equipment List will show up.
As i get new items all the time I can't just specify a range as they are spread throughout the worksheet.

Not really sure about VBA or Macro's, so your help would be very useful.

Using excel 2003 and vista

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Q1: Does the 'Equipment List' worksheet contain the entire list of rigging gear?
Q2: Does the list start in row 1?
Q3: Does the list have headers?
Q4: What column contains the types (e.g Wire Rope Grommet, or System Sling)

Q5: What is the name of the worksheet that contans the buttons?
Q6: What buttons do you want/have?

Q7: Would it be better to have a dropdownbox that contained all of the types and a single button to display whatever was in the dropdown when the button was clicked?
