Hello Friends

I have 2 workbooks and both workbooks have a macro which I have to run when they are opened and those macro have to keep running and to my understanding i cant run them at the same time on the same system.

Workbook 1 and Workbook 2 are in a shared drive which i can access from another System
workbook 1 will only run if some values are updated from workbook 2(work book 2 has some values and workbook 1 is linked to those values.

My problem is the values dont update on real time back to workbook 1 on real time bases the values update only after the workbook is saved and closed .... Please help ... I m not pro in excel not an advance user, I just use the internet for info. So if possible please help in basic terms. Thank you
