Sometimes a formula that should be so simple really gets the best of me.

Can some advise me of what I'm doing wrong?

Below is the formula....

=IF(H9="2",(D9*13)),IF(H9="3",(D9*20))

All I'm trying to do is where ("H9="2") is to multiply the formula, then if (H9="3") then multiply that formula and place it in the cell. The cell the result would be placed in is (I9).

Is this enough info or did I leave something out?

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
If H9 is a number rather than text remove the quotes

When I remove the quotes, the result says "FALSE". It should display 2.47, because the number in "D9" is (.19)

How about
=IF(H9=2,D9*13,IF(H9=3,D9*20))
