Hi all, I have a cash flow model I am building with over 50 assets.

Each asset tab has the same format. However, cell A1 of each tab has the name of the asset. Tab A1 identifies the asset and each cell in A1 will have a unique asset name.

I am trying to prepare an asset summary table.

Is there a way I can set a criteria where:

If cell A1 in tab asset 1 to tab asset 50, has the name of a specific asset, then, make this tab the active tab and then

Do an index(match) in that tab that meets the criteria above.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
