Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

hmm....you can do what you want by recording macro. But promt for a rename will require msgbox.

try
Code:
Sub test()
ActiveSheet.Copy After:=ActiveSheet
ActiveSheet.Name = Application.InputBox("Enter new sheet name", type:=3)
End Sub
You still need to trap the error for the valid sheet name.
