Inserting a value into a varying range

I need a little help with vba if possible!

So I need some code that can help me insert a value into a varying range of cells, based on what the user selects.

So they could pick cells A4 though to B14 and when they select a button I want it to insert a set value.

I've managed to insert the value into a single cell but what do i need to include to do a varying range?

Use

selection.value ="Put here your value"

this one is simpler to use
