Hi
I created 3 simple tables. Then I went to Insert-->Table and renamed each table as following

year16
year17
year18

I went to Formula tab-->Name Manager. I see 3 of them there. When I click on any of them, the Delete option is grayed out. Why is that? I tried everything but I can not delete them from there nor edit them? Thank you so much.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
You want to delete them? You can either highlight the rows its in and delete those rows if nothing else is in the rows or right click inside the table, go to table, then convert to range. The formatting remains though.

Do you want to delete them or covert them back to range? If the latter, then with your cursor somewhere in the table, click on Design on the Ribbon and locate Convert to Range.
