I'm new to the forum. I'm hoping I can get some advice. I work in a showroom environment. I am barcoding every product in my showroom. I am using a vlookup command and loading information about each product into an excel spreadsheet. Using an ipad, I would like my staff to share this excel spreadsheet with google.docs, scan the barcode into a cell and retrieve stored information about the product. (ON THE FLY). I do not want to use a UPC barcode. That would be too easy for clients to use my showroom as a "Best-Buy" for "Amazon". Any suggestions on this process of tying a scanned barcode into a cell and retrieving the information?
