Hello!

I am attempting to create an Excel spreadsheet for use in my fantasy hockey league. The league allows for the trading of future years draft picks but our platform does not support this, so I am attempting this spreadsheet.

I have already created an interface to go and select which teams are making the trade, but I am unsure how to create my database to keep track of ownership of a particular pick. Each pick has a year and particular round for that year. I have a dropdown list to select the teams, and then the dropdown list will only display the picks owned by the particular team participating in the trade. I have no idea how to keep track of the master list of trades, as well has how to go and "execute" the trade and have the particular pick transfer to the new team. I am fairly new to excel and completely unsure where to start and how I should go about doing this.

The picture above shows the sheet that allows you to select which teams are participating in the trade and what draft picks are being swapped.
