Please let me know if I can link Word documents in an Excel cell with relative addressing instead of absolute addressing. I like to be ab;le to save the Excel file and all linked Word files in one folder such as My Document and send them all to other recipients via email and for them to be able to open the linked files.

Excel motto
Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
Word's LINK field, which is what it uses to reference an Excel file, does not support relative paths. A macro could be used to overcome this, but that means saving the file in the docm format and the recipients allowing the macro to run when the document is opened. Word's hyperlink field, however, can be modified to work with relative paths (the display text is fixed, however). For both issues, check out the solutions I've posted at: http://www.msofficeforums.com/word/38722-word-fields-relative-paths-external-files.html
