Hi there,

I seem to have trouble that I haven't had before and may be that I'm not using the full functionality of excel 2016. I have a simple master spreadsheet that is linked to multiple spreadsheets and unless I have the actual linked spreadhseet open, I get the #VALUE ! in the master spreadsheet cell. I've looked at editing links but can't find the solution.

Any assistance would be greatly recieved.

Regards

Ben

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Do any of the links work?

I know that the #Ref error usually occurs when trying to use function INDIRECT with external references.

You can ensure that there are checkmarks next to Excel Options | Advanced | When calculating... | Update links to other documents and Save external link values.

Likely it is a problem that arises when workbook files were created in earlier versions of Excel; review these discussions and determine whether or not this is germane.
