Hi, not sure if this is a known issue but I didn't see its solution in any of the message boards I was looking at. I was running a macro I built a while ago and every single time Excel would freeze and I'd get the "Automation Error Exception Occurred" message box.

After searching and troubleshooting, I realized that the only thing that changed since last run is I installed the Analysis ToolPak Add-In. Sure enough, when I removed the add-in, everything worked like a charm. Of course, something else may be at play like a VBA setting that I should've updated but removing the add-in worked for me.

Since I wasn't able to find this specific situation on any message boards, I figured I'd create an account and post something if someone else has this issue. If this is a known issue that everyone's aware of, please feel free to downvote or whatever and I'll attempt to remove this thread.

Thanks,
Kevin
