Hello All,

Kindly solve my code maybe i did something wrong i want to run a macro automatically on base of cell A2

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Intersect(Target, Range("$A2:$A2")) And Value = "1" Then
Application.Run "Macro1"
End If
End Sub

Change sheet events don't get triggered by formulas.Try this mod on the code supplied by steve the fish'
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

Dim rng As Range

Set rng = Intersect(Target, Range("[COLOR=#ff0000]D[/COLOR]2"))
If Not rng Is Nothing Then
    If rng.Value = 1 Then
        Application.Run "Macro1"
    End If
End If

End Sub

D2 is actually a dropdown list it is not possible to trigger macro1 from selecting the value from dropdown list ?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().

It is, but your code was looking at A2 (which is a formula) and not D2 (which is a drop-down list).
Fluff made the change in the code to run off of changes to D2 (see the change he highlighted in red).
