Hi all ,

i am on a excel sheet where in i have 2 names "LIP" and "GIP" in column A. data is like

GIP
GIP
LIP
LIP
LIP
LIP
GIP
LIP
GIP
GIP
GIP
GIP
GIP
LIP
LIP

I need the rows should be arranged in alternate manner. like

GIP

Any macro or formula to do that ?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Here's a way to do it manually :

• Sort by column A
• In an empty column, fill sequential numbers starting with 1 in the GIP first row down to the last GIP row. Do the same for the LIP rows.
• Sort by the sequential numbers column.
