Good Day! Can anyone help me?

My destination Book is HandyDandyGuide. It will already be open. I do not want the error message to update links popping up, I created a combo button to click to perform the update function.

I need my code updated to:

check to see if the workbook "Big Deposit" is open.

1. if it is open, update the links, save and close it
2. if it is not open, open it, update links, save and close it

here is my code (I recorded a macro):

Workbooks.Open Filename:= _
"K:\manager info\Parraway, John\Sanitation\Safe Count.xls"
Windows("HandyDandyGuide.xlsm").Activate
Windows("Safe Count.xls").Activate
ActiveWorkbook.Save
ActiveWindow.Close

Please help me

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
