I was trying to use the MOD function to get the portion of a number to the right of the decimal point.

=MOD(M32,INT(M32))

However when M32 is zero I get an error message #DIV/0

In most cases the number in M32 will be in the format XX.XXXXX.

What function can I use to avoid this error message?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I tried that and it did the trick.
I don't know if you saw Message #3 or it and your last message "crossed in the ether", so just checking... will you ever have any negative values to parse?

Thanks this looks like it might be a better option, although I am not going to have negative numbers.

It is great to learn two ways of accomplishing this.

Thanks
