Monitor Teams status in Excel

I am using both Excel 365 web and App. Is there are way for a spreadsheet to monitor the status in teams?

I’ve just started looking into Ms Teams control via excel/scripting, but haven’t made any progress yet. The Microsoft Graph API looks promising though. Check this link.

Thank you for your response. I have also come across Graph API this afternoon but I have not had a chance to delve into it. Hopefully it can help.
I was more hoping to use the get external data function. I guess my next question would be how I could find teams information. If you do come across anything please keep me in mind. I would very much appreciate it.
