Hi

I have a list of addresses in MS Word, in the following format:

Mr ABC
75 ABC Street
Washington
USA

However I want to move these fields into Excel, as 4 columns, with a column for the name, a column for street etc, any ideas?

Thanks

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
it might not be pretty:

put a - between each address (you could macro this)
put a , after each line with information (again macro this if you can)

import all data

Text-to-Columns with - as diliminator (spelling?)

Pivot the row so that it is in one column

Text-to-Columns with , as dilim

and that should do it.

If you have more then 50 addresses this might not be a solid solution.

It is quick(depending on #) and dirty.
