Multiple Compound Calculations

Hi,

I have been working on a debt consolidation calculator. Basically I want to list a set of debts and have excel calculate when each debt is being paid off and create a graph over time.

The part I am having trouble with is as each debt is being paid off, the contribution of that debt now needs to go to the next debt to pay down. I want this to go to the debt with the highest interest rate rather than the next listed. I have the debts listed in in order from the highest interest rate, however the problem is when a debt further down the list has been paid off. I want it to go to the highest interest rate debt still active.

I have been playing around with this for a few days and I am really stuck. Excel is telling me I have created a circular formula.

I have tried to work around this. My rough work is below and might not make much sense.

Any suggestions would be welcome!!

Thanks a lot
