Hello,
Is there a way to open files saved as xls and csv that have numerical numbers that have a leading zero. Currently when I open my files I am having to convert that column to a number to get it to show correctly and mostly loosing the leading zero. Since the files I open can have random numbers in the column, some without the leading zero, it is hard to know which did which numbers are missing the zero.

Thanks JR

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
All file names should be a string data type, even though they look like numbers and have numerical characteristics. So you should be able to format your column as 'Text' and not lose your leading zeroes. Probably 'Custom' number format using the @ symbol as the type would be best.
