Team,
I'd like to view several sheets at the same time. Is it possible to (via an add-on or maybe in version 2010) to view several sheet in separate 'panes'.

Consider MS Access, how tables can be opened either with tabs across the top or with overlapping panes.

In a model I'm building I'd like to have an [Inputs] sheet appear in a pane, and the [Output] graph appear in another pane, with both panes visible at the same time.

Thoughts???

Thanks,
John,

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Akashwani,

That is AWESOME... And just what I was looking for. Excel just became substantially MORE functional. Not just 2, but I've opened up several sheets: the inputs, the calculations, and the outputs. I can see immediately the changes to the output affected by the inputs.

Thanks again,

John,

You can also acheive a similar effect by pasting a picture of the cells you want to look at:

Copy the cells

Select where you want them to appear Paste as Picture - Paste As Picture Link

Then as the cells change they will change in the picture "live"

This is good if you want to see what is happening at different places in a single sheet at the same time in one view as you can paste lots of different pictures in a single window (it works with charts too)
