Pivot Average vs Regular Average function

Hi,

Which is the most accurate the Pivot Average or the regular Average function? Please see the image below:

Pivot shows: 1091.642857
Average: 1033.958333

looks like they are both equally accurate

be aware the final value 1033.958333 is just an average of the four quarterly average values, so a different thing from the average of all the data which the pivot table returns in 'Grand Total'

the pivot average is the accurate one, since 1033 is the average of the averages per quarter.. taking the average of averages is not mathematically correct..
